The Heroes Monument in Drobeta is a monument dedicated to the heroes of the First World War.

The monument was inaugurated on June 4, 1933 and erected at the initiative of Mayor Virgil Netta. Placed in the Park of Roses, the edifice was built between 1928-1933 and is a tribute to the Romanian soldiers who fell on duty in the First World War. The work was made by the architect State Balosin, the sculptor Teodor Burca and the stonemason Carol Umberto.
