The Cultural Center "Nichita Stanescu", is a cultural institution, coordinated by the Mehedinti County Council.

The Cultural Center "Nichita Stanescu" has as a fundamental objective of activity
the representation of the county through culture and arts, capitalizing on our beautiful traditions, promoting competitive
talents, ideas and valuable creations. In this respect, the entire creative and managerial potential must be trained
for the development of its own programs and in partnership, attached to the new democratic structures that
militate for national identity and European integration.
