An alley of the outstanding personalities of Mehedinti County, who have left their mark in the history of the city, is arranged by the City Hall of Drobeta Turnu Severin along crisan street.

16 sculptures representing the real faces of those who became famous in different fields of activity are erected in the section between Tudor Vladimirescu Boulevard and Obelisk.

Among these busts is Gheorghe D. Anghel, Theodor Costescu, Ioan Stoian Grecescu, Gheorghe Ionescu Sisesti, Stefan Odobleja, sons of the county.
